News: Cooking at the allotment

One of our young allotmenteers has been spending time with us over half term- not only digging and planting, but cooking too! Over the week, we’ve made stewed apples with yoghurt and honey (with our apples from the plot), apple drop scones with freshly squeezed orange juice, bananas and custard, and sautéed potatoes with beans.

It’s fun to work in the greenhouse when you are actually in the middle of a garden- and even better when you're nice and dry, and outside it’s pouring with rain!
