Crow Wood CIC
What we do
We are a not for profit company, providing sessions and workshops for a range of people who feel that they would benefit from working and spending time in nature.
We work together on activities such as tree planting, managing an orchard, outdoor cooking and bushcraft skills, and creating a garden for people to share and enjoy.
We have a base at Rowditch Allotments in Derby, as well as on the Meynell Langley organic farm estate in Derbyshire. Both are accessible by public transport, bike and car.
In addition to regular sessions with client groups, we offer one-off workshops and events open to the public, as well as family sessions and open days.
All our staff are experienced and qualified in working with a variety of client groups. We all have enhanced DBS checks, and public liability insurance.
We run sessions tailored to our groups' interests and needs, based on the social and therapeutic benefits of working outdoors. Sessions can include horticulture, green crafts, exploration of the environment, outdoor cooking, tool skills.
