Well, this is one way to put up a tipi...

Today all the fruit trees have been moved to their new homes, leaving space to make our permanent tipi circle. But first, we needed up put up the tipi to check the fit...

And for the more observant you may have noticed this tent has only a single pole shown (it goes in the middle- there is no other pole), meaning it’s not actually a tipi. In fact, the bag says it’s a Norwegian Lavvu, but Wikipedia explains why a single pole round tent isn’t a lavvu either!

In any case, it’s going to be an amazing space for all-weather activities- especially once it’s got an enclosing raised bed, slabbed floor and is mounted higher so the space is even more comfortable: All due to be ready in the next few weeks!
