We started off at the allotment this afternoon, to pick herbs for our meal meal of homemade butternut squash soup...with jam tarts to follow!
Our after-schoolers certainly have to work before they can eat, and the squash takes a fair bit of prep.
Followed by pastry rolling and cutting and filling- they did a great job!
After our meal there was a spot of painting, and also some auto-harp playing!
