Strawberries and onions- yum!
This week is Planting Up The Tipi Border week.
Today, we’ve topped up the soil in the border and planted lavender, chives and strawberries which the forest school group potted up in February. We’re really happy that we’ve been able to use cuttings (including donations from various people- thank you!), splitting clumps and saved seed for all our herbs so far.
We also planted out onion seedlings into one of the metre square beds, since there will be no groups to use the beds at least until later in the year.
Tomorrow, daily exercise will be... taking another wheelbarrow of herbs to the allotment!
