This week’s after school session was so lovely and warm- we thought that autumn had come to stay, but apparently not!
Delicious dinner of halloumi pittas with sautéed onion, courgette and tomatoes (picked from the plot, obviously!).
Then Cathie made a fantastic dessert of stewed windfall ‘Katy’ apples, with blackberries and raspberries (picked by our youngsters), and a gorgeous toasted crumble topping. Amazing!!
The sunflower race is still on, and we estimate the tallest one to be four metres high! We’ll measure it when it’s finished flowering…
Oh…and we made wolf ears, and a unicorn horn…😀
