Recipe: Blackberry and apple crumble

It didn't last long...

Another classic crumble combination.

To make this crumble, you will need:

2l (one large ice cream tub) full of blackberries

A few apples

And to follow the recipe for the rhubarb crumble from May, but using the wrong fruit!

Because blackberries are softer than rhubarb, no pre-heating of the fruit is needed. But putting a tray beneath the dish is DEFINITELY needed- blackberries are very easy to boil over if you overfill the dish a bit!
