Thanks to all in the Duesbury Green Spaces Group who came along this weekend to clear the Mayvale Grove play area- and kept to social distancing rules fantastically too.
Thanks also to council neighbourhoods manager Sarah Dosunmu for organising the rubbish removal for us.
We got most of the bushes and trees around the hard paved area pruned back enough to give access to the whole space and enough to get a lot of the litter out- and got vast amounts of fly-tipped junk ready for the council to remove on Monday.
Next steps are lots more rubbish clearance and lots of local consultation to get the are made really lovely hopefully in time for the summer!
