Today we released the lower edge of the roof felt and fitted a gutter to the side of the shed to protect the windows and wall below- runoff from this roof section seems to have been the main way water was getting into the shed.
The gutter alone will probably be enough to cause a drought for the next six months- but if not, the next step is to connect up the (currently empty) water butts on Tuesday, which should absolutely guarantee everyone some sunny weather!
