We had rain at forest school this week, so the camp fire was a very welcome addition to our activities! The children spent lots of time in their favourite places around the woodland - the stream, and their 'camp'. They are very spread out, and have a lot of room to roam.
In between their time off in the wild, they took turns to cook bread dough on freshly whittled green sticks - and soon the lovely smell of new bread was drifting around the main camp!
Some of them also had a go at the classic popcorn made in metal sieves - great fun to watch it pop!
