We thought we'd do something different this week, partly because the rain has stopped and we can be outside without being drenched. Derby has had an incredible deluge over the last week, with some places still closed due to flooding.
So we walked to our local fish and chip shop, and had our tea sitting on the grass, watching the world go by.
We had a bit of an explore after that, looking at an older part of the village. It's fascinating to see how old buildings have been modified and re-purposed, and to see how new buildings have been fitted in.
There might have been a treat of ice creams too!
