This morning the water was (just about) under the ground instead of on top of it in large pools- meaning we were able to get loads done.
With the assistance of more lovely volunteers we put in the inner octagon of our tipi raised bed and seating area, paved most of the space inside it (work not quite finished as we haven’t quite sourced enough reclaimed slabs yet- donations welcome!), built 4 large raised vegetable beds from reclaimed scaffolding, planted raspberries- and even enjoyed watching a welcome rainbow at the end of the day!
